Crisis and resources
Cobalt is not a crisis service. This website and our voicemail are not monitored around the clock, so please do not use them for anything urgent.
If you are in crisis
Call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, any time. If you or someone else is in danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
If you are not safe at home
If you are afraid of someone you live with, call 911 if you are in danger now. The National Domestic Violence Hotline answers at 1-800-799-7233. If you are in couples therapy with us, tell your clinician; we may suggest individual sessions instead.
If you are a client
Your clinician returns messages during office hours. If you are worried about how you are feeling between sessions, tell your clinician at your next session, and make a plan together for what to do.
What Cobalt does not do
Our clinicians do not prescribe medication. We do not provide emergency care, custody evaluations or reports for courts. If you need any of these, your doctor or the emergency room is the right place to start.
